Having contacted Colorado Deck, Landscape, & Remodeling Co., Inc., you have started the design process.
We will discuss your thoughts on the phone and both decide that a consultation at your home is appropriate.
We will ask you to review the appropriate pages on our website.
A designer from Colorado Deck, Landscape & Remodeling Co., Inc. (CDLR) will come to your home for a free consultation. Together we will discuss your thoughts and desires as well as your long term wish list. Any pictures from books, magazines or any other source of items or images you like would be beneficial. CDLR takes an inventory of plants you like or dislike, favorite colors, the use of your space and your wish list. Your anticipated budget is also discussed at this meeting.
A design team from CDLR comes back to the site to measure the home. A base (site Plan) supplied by you at the previous meeting is used in this analysis. All existing structures are located as are existing plant material and the locations of items such as faucets, air conditioners, electric service & gas meters. We take pictures of the house & pertinent views that need to be enhanced or screened. At this time, we also measure elevations across the property to identify the need for grade change, retaining walls, etc.
CDLR will lay out the base plan showing all the existing features and grade elevation.
CDLR then starts the design process that evolves into a preliminary plan for your property that includes all aspects including hardscape details with grades, planting details and night lighting. A preliminary cost analysis is also derived at this point.
We will invite you to come to our facility to review the preliminary design and cost estimate. We have numerous design details for you to view on display in our gardens which will help you visualize the design we have done for your property. Modifications in the design will be discussed and implemented at this time. The preliminary budget will also be discussed at this meeting.
Your designer at CDLR will then complete the final design and cost estimate. Please be aware that changes can be made at any time during the design process as well as after the final design is completed. Your complete satisfaction is our only goal.Your place is our passion
CDLR will next meet with you at your property with the final design and review the details of the design. The final cost analysis will be reviewed at this time.
